Balance is a
key component of successful human
performance. Dynamic balance is
finding equilibrium while moving,
alternating feet and changing
positions. By working in an “unbalanced”
environment you increase neurological
demands.
Agility is the
ability to change directions without
the loss of speed, strength, and
body control. Agility depends
on a variety of athletic factors:
neuromuscular integration, flexibility,
stamina, and sequential muscle
firing.
Strength is
the foundation of athletic performance.
Increased strength can reshape
and sculpt the body, boost metabolism,
strengthen bones, and improve
overall conditioning.
Intensity is
the target zone of beats per minute
your heart should beat during
intense exercise. We make our
objective goal of what the client
can achieve, and then plan a progression
so that a client can reach a desired
goal within a reasonable amount
of time and without excessive
stress on their body.
Core training
is working the muscles (paraspinals,
hip flexors, transverse abdominals,
rectus abdominals, internal and
external obliques, etc) of your
trunk. The biggest demands are
put on these muscles for functional
and every day tasks. By strengthening
these muscle groups and improving
body alignment your body works
at a higher level of efficiency.
